Poncho's review May 12, 2008 Hector A. Caicedo (FL USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am enjoying what I was Expecting. I did a deep reserch on this DVR card and I knew what was going to receive tha's what I got. I am very happy with this purchase it's inexpensive and runs very good. I installed in my desk top using windows Vista home and I have no Problems. I am running 4 cameras and using an external drive for recording. I'm not a computers expert.
Works great with XP SP3 for ME May 24, 2009 B. Gibson 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this card to go into a inexpensive Dell computer that I bought just for this purpose. I have Windows XP SP3 on it and nothing else. It works great. I can remote in from work and see what is going on at home. I am using 3 cameras that are also Lorex. I would purchase this again and have recommend it to others.
Setup at a business location October 7, 2009 Oakie 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Had previously bought two other cards with software
that worked very poorly. This card and software work excellent.
I installed it for a business application and I am very pleased.
Easy start up as the software is written well.
Recording by motion saves a huge amount of disk space!
Had it running about 2 months on Win 2000 day and night with no problems.
Planning on adding another card to the system.
There are better options out there, but not at this price.
Go ahead, buy it, you won't regret it.
I do not recommend anything unless I really like it!
Excellent Capture Card for DIY Home Security April 25, 2005 Kurt R. Hinson (Tucson, Arizona) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
After purchasing and using 2 Lorex cameras with other PC "capture" cards I decided to buy this card and I have not been disappointed. Now I can monitor all my cameras from one PC and the included software alone is worth the price. The only down side so far is I cannot find the power adapter cables (optional accessory) to power my cameras directly from the card. My emails to Lorex (strategicvista) have not been returned yet.
Not for Windows 7 February 6, 2010 akphotograph (Wasilla, AK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Could not get to work with 64 bit Windows 7. Contacted customer support and they never contacted me back. Put on older machine with XP, works but software very slow. Is not compatible with 3rd party software, tried several.
